Every Tampa Bay Home is committed to the letter and the spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We support and encourage an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.

Equal Housing Opportunity

The federal Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. §§ 3601 et seq.) prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing, and in other housing-related transactions, based on:

The Florida Fair Housing Act (Chapter 760, Part II, Florida Statutes) provides substantially the same protections at the state level. Some local ordinances in the Tampa Bay area extend protection to additional characteristics. We follow whichever standard is most protective.

How This Applies to Our Website

Our search tools, neighborhood guides, and lifestyle content are organized around property characteristics and buyer preferences — price, size, location, amenities, and similar objective criteria. They are not intended to be used, and may not be used, to steer buyers toward or away from any area on the basis of a protected characteristic.

Demographic information about the residents of a neighborhood is deliberately not part of our guides. Buyers who want that data should consult independent public sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau. School ratings, crime statistics, and similar third-party data referenced on this site are provided by outside sources, may be inaccurate or out of date, and should be independently verified for any property you are seriously considering.
